Blue Heron was everything I wanted for my wedding. Tara is amazing to work with. She will make sure everything if perfect you. The food was amazing! If I could do it all again I would still pick Blue Heron.

Our wedding day was beyond perfect! The venue is beautiful, it has character and charm that you don't find anywhere else and stunning views all around. The food was excellent and the head chef Jorge is wonderful. He really went above and beyond to personalize our experience and our family and friends are still talking about how delicious the food was. The staff was amazing, they worked with us every step of the way to make sure our day was perfect, especially Tara, the wedding coordinator. Our family and friends have all said that it was the best wedding they have been to hands down and no other place compares. We also met the Jaworski's and they are such friendly people who really care about their customers. My husband and I will be doing all our future events at Blue Heron Pines and we recommend it to everyone we know for every event!!

They were extremely flexible with our head count and our set up. All of our questions were answered promptly, and we didn't have any worries on the day of. Everything was taken care of and we were able to just party and have a good time.

Hands down the best place in SJ for a wedding. After visiting 10+ venues, I immediately chose Blue Heron. The room is absolutely gorgeous with the exposed beams in the ceilings and lighted vines wrapped around them. The room is a bit of an odd shape, but it worked perfectly for our 100 guest wedding. The food is OUTSTANDING. Every meal was cooked perfectly and all my guests raved about it. The level of service was also outstanding. Will is an incrediable manager who was willing to work with us to customize every aspect of the day. Everything was organized, clean and just perfect. Our planner Diane was also awesome. I gave her free reign to set up our room using her best judgements. I guess I'm a trusting bride, but it was great and exactly what I would have done. The grounds are also wonderful. We took a ride (so much fun) out on the course for photos and they turned out beautiful. We got to use the side room as a "hide" which was great to stash our stuff in and get away if needed. I highley recommend Will and the entire staff of Blue Heron Pines for your big day. You will not be disappointed!

We looked at 10 AC area reception venues, including country clubs, restaurants, and banquet halls, before deciding on Blue Heron Pines, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The decision was based on the reasonable rates and beautiful banquet space, but Blue Heron Pines also came through with excellent food and service. Actually, our first visit to Blue Heron Pines nearly turned negative. The manager with whom we had our appointment called out sick. But general manager Will Arabea quickly put aside what he was doing and met with us instead, making the meeting a positive one. The experience told us that the staff there would be willing to go the extra step if things didn't go quite as planned. Will continued to be our primary contact, guiding us through the planning process and assisting with a multitude of details. We can't say enough about his friendly attitude, attention to detail, and availability to help. From our initial tour to our wedding day, he was there to answer questions and offer suggestions. He went out of his way to help us, and I'll never forget how he made our 2-yr-old flower girl smile for the photographer! In the end, the proof was in our guests' rave reviews. The open bars were flowing, all the food on the buffet was complimented, and cake/clean-up was done in a timely fashion. Everyone had a great time. Blue Heron Pines offered a side-bar area with TVs for our after-reception party. The club's excellent staff hung with us until the last guest was ready to go. After shopping around, we would recommend Blue Heron Pines for its excellent value. But after our wedding reception, we would also recommend it for the amazing food, service, and a great time!

Tara was great. She made the entire booking process abreeze! The staff handled every little detail. All around a great wedding with a great venue!

They did not cut or serve my sheetcake or offer the italian rum birthday cake we had for my father, so my guests all got little slivers of the cutting cake and a $100 sheet cake is now in my aunt's freezer waiting for my gran's 90th Birthday. There were some "misplaced" cards/gifts and the top of my cake was put out too early as they hurried to close up and it partially melted. The General manager, Will, is extremely competent, responsive and flexible. However, his two female assistants leave a lot to be desired. The bartender failed to flag an extremely drunk guest, who I ended up having to ask to leave.
