Catherine Boyd Violinist

Catherine Boyd is an unbelievable artist. From the moment we met, she was the most responsive and enthusiastic vendor I dealt w/throughout my wedding planning. She treated me as if I was the only bride she was working with--and I know for sure I was not! I hired Catherine to play for an hour during our ceremony, as our wedding band did not cover that part of the evening. Catherine and I spoke on the phone at our first meeting, and we began creating a list of unique and fantastic music--but I had no idea how she was going to play it on the violin. For example, I wanted to walk down the aisle to "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol and I wanted to surprise my husband w/the Eagles Fight Song! Catherine never batted an eye about my requests, and on the day of the wedding, her music was breathtaking! Hearing "Chasing Cars" begin as I started down the steps toward the aisle, is a moment I will never forget. If you are at all apprehensive about hiring Catherine Boyd, I urge you to call her RIGHT now! You will not be the slightest bit disappointed. I was so thrilled she played at our wedding--she made the ceremony personal and so joyful. I would highly and enthusiastically recommend Catherine Boyd to anyone and everyone! If I could give her six stars for every category, I would!

Catherine was an exceptional violinist. I originally wanted a string quartet, but due to bookings I was referred to her. She was so easy-going and very eager to please. We discussed what types of music to use and helped me customize a list of music for my ceremony. Upon listening to some tracks on-line and watching live footage; I knew she would do well. Nothing prepared me for how fantastic she played live. Even on the beach with the wind; she was able to use that to her advantage and her music carried across the beach. Everyone was extremely impressed with her skills and I received numerous compliments. I would highly recommend her to anyone whom needed a musician for their event.

Catherine was a wonderful addition to our ceremony. Her playing added a real elegant feel to the ceremony. She was great to work with. For my prelude she learned multiple songs (our guest wedding songs) in order to add a personalized feel to our ceremony. She is extremely talented. She even noticed that a couple from out of state had missed the ceremony so she went to the cocktail hour and played music outside for our guest and family. (this was beyond the agreed time that we had set.) This was one vendor that I felt like I had UNDER paid!! She went way beyond our expectations.
