I didn't want to change my name...I thought it would be too much of a hassle!!! But then, when we began getting things ready for our post-nuptial move I realized how much I actually NEEDED to change my name!! I stumbled upon this service via WeddingWire and I couldn't have been happier!! Within 30 minutes all of my paperwork was done and printed!! I was so impressed I immediately bought a gift card for a friend as a wedding gift to her!!

Waste of money. It's easy enough to do all these things on your own because you still have to do them with or without this service. It didn't even provide a single form that was necessary for changing your name in FL.

Made "THE" process SO much quicker!!! What a fabulous idea!! It organized and prioritized ALL the forms that I needed right there in one place! Well worth it!

The idea of this service is wonderful, however it really needs improvement. I paid 1/2 price through Groupon and I still feel as though it wasn't worth it. This service (theoretically) makes it so that you don't have to go to multiple different sites to change your name - just enter your information into the fields they provide and it populates the forms for you for Social Security, driver's license, passport, etc. The fields on the website are not well-labeled or described, which I found out after I printed the forms - this was especially the case with the driver's license questions. Since I only changed my name after my marriage and not my address, I think it would have been easier for me to just go to the individual government websites to obtain the forms.

Check your DMV forms. I clearly checked off democratic party in the form online. On my way to dmv and I examined the printed out copy. Republican party was checked off. Had I not looked, I would have registered for the wrong party for me. SO MAKE SURE YOU QC YOUR FORMS!!!!

This is such a waste of money. You have to go to the social security office and the dmv to bring the forms in anyway unless you trust the government to mail you back important documents like your marriage license and social security card. It is a good idea and the website is pretty legit and easy but really it is just a giant waste of money. The only beneficial thing is that they give you all the forms so you can fill them out electronically.

This has made changing my name SO easy! It really is as quick and straightforward as the ads make it seem. I bought gift cards for friends to help them with their name changes, and had trouble actually receiving the cards. MissNowMrs was quick to respond and highly professional, and now my friends are on their way to a streamlined name change, too!

This is a great concept, but it basically provides the needed government documents (helpful) and then the rest is a form letter they've drafted for you to print and send to various companies stating that you've changed your name. Unfortunately, most companies require more than a letter to change your name, and will require their own forms and proof of identification. I was under the impression this service would have a database of forms you could fill out through their website, but that isn't the case. The letter to the bank actually says "Please update my account at your earliest convenience...including a new ATM card with my name". The bank isn't going to change your account and mail out an ATM card based on a letter! Honestly, you can find a list of what government forms you need for free if you google it, and the rest was pretty useless.

This site helped me save so much time in changing my last name, especially printing our forms that I could easily send to banks, professional associations, etc.! I would highly recommend this service to any bride considering a name change or hyphenation.

DO NOT EVEN BOTHER USING THIS IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY--- THEY CAN NOT SUPPORT YOU PERIOD. The fact that I am a LEGAL RESIDENT of state X and have a CURRENT MAILING address in state Y is too much for them to comprehend. they keep trying to give me forms for CA even though I am a NJ resident. My voter registration, DL and everything is in NJ, as in keeping with the LAW for ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS!!! the service rep actually told me to put my incorrect old mailing address to get the right state form, but doesn't understand that the right form with the wrong current mailing address is useless!!! This is a total rip off and waste of time. I would have been better off to go to the NJ DMV site. I have asked for a refund they are supposedly processing. We will see if I get my money back. what a waste. (oh yeah, don't even hope to find the MILITARY NAME CHANGE forms you need either, they won't know what those are. this people are...

This site was very helpful and made the process of changing my name much speedier and also much easier than I expected. I was dreading this part more than anything and with this site, it was a breeze!

For a mere $30 the stress of changing my last name was virtually eliminated! This service is very straight forward, takes away the need to hunt for for forms AND gives you very concise directions about what to send to each entity required in changing your names. One of my newly wed friends recommended it to me - and now I've purchased it for two of my friends who are getting married this month! I know it will be an awesome unique gift that will keep that post wedding stress far far away!

I recently used this service to change my name and found it quite helpful, for two main reasons: 1. The checklists for what each institution (the SSA, DMV, National Passport Processing Center, etc.) needed was a good way to organize the material-- I used manila folders with the checklists paperclipped to the front of each one and contained therein were all the documents necessary for changing my name with that institution; and 2. It reminded me of several places that I wouldn't have thought to send a name change notice to: insurance, doctor's office, alumni associations, etc. I'm a bridesmaid in three weddings next year and plan on getting gift cards for all of them for the service.

This website would have probably been a big help if i was able to print out any of my forms. I emailed back and forth with the help desk as i was unable to ever do an online chat with them. I was told that their server was down and that was the reason that i could not print out my forms. 2 days later i then tried again to print them out and the same problems happened. I again had to email them to find out why i was unable to print them out and was told that i should be able to print them out no problems. STILL i am unable to print out any of my forms and will be going to to each place on my own. They did however get back to my emails in a very timely fashion which was nice and they were very nice when answering my questions if i was only able to get everything else to work. Personally i think it was a total waste of 30 dollars!

Had no difficulty using it, and it helped with the hefty task of changing my name!

This service was terrible. It was more geared toward change of address, not change of last name. The forms for VT was not even the correct forms. I did not move I just got married and I spent the money thinking it would save me time but instead I wasted more time and money.

AWESOME concept...but doesn't really work for brides in certain states, like Texas. In Texas you have to physically go to the DMV to get your drivers license changed. The Social Security Administration requires your original, VALID drivers license (or passport) with your maiden name...no photocopies...and a certified copy of your marriage certificate. They don't tell you that when you're filling out the application. If you're willing to part with your drivers license or passport, then changing your name via mail is easy, but I had already gone to the DMV to get my name changed, and they clipped off the corner my license making it invalid, so the SSA rejected my application and I had to go to the offices with my passport and have my name changed in person. Also, check with your banks and other service proivders before signing up for this service. My banks required me to come in and change my name in person. You can very easily find most of the forms you need online, for free, if you just go to the company's websites or make a couple of quick phone calls. One thing I LOVED about MissNowMrs.com is that when I brought up these issues, they gave me an IMMEDIATE refund of the full amount and apologized for the inconvenience. Since almost all of my friends are in Texas, I would not recommend this vendor, but maybe it makes more sense in a different state.

I purchased this product for myself after getting married. It made changing my name SO SIMPLE. It even reminded me of things I would not have thought of (department credit cards, etc.). I have since purchased this service as a bridal shower gift for several friends. It is a must have! Saves tons of time and is user friendly. Their customer service is also amazing. I tend to do things last minute and had to ask them to send me a printable gift certificate since I didn't have time to wait for the gift card. They responded immediately and I had my gift in my hand within minutes. Love them!
