Running Deer Golf Club is a must! Heather and Olivia made the planning process stress-free. They answered EVERY question, cleared up any confusion on my part and were open to all of my ideas. On our wedding day the ENTIRE staff was professional, prepared, and friendly. Our guests are still commenting on how pleased they were at the level of professionalism displayed by the Running Deer staff. Running Deer provided one staff member to work solely for my husband and myself. We never had an empty glass or plate. Every possible need was taken care of efficiently and effectively. I honestly cannot imagine a more perfect day or a more perfect place. Our wedding day was the best day of my life. I had both my ceremony & reception at Running Deer. Heather and the staff at Running Deer are absolutely fabulous. Heather was easy to communicate with throughout the process(this involved many emails) and accommodated everything we asked for. She responded so quickly to all of my questions and concerns. We received so many compliments on the food-- both the cocktail hour food and meals were fabulous. I also absolutely loved how the space was decorated for the holiday season. Mary Jo was also absolutely fabulous on the wedding day. She got us whatever we needed, made sure we knew what was going on, and checked in with us frequently. She also checked up with our parents throughout the night as well, making sure they were taken care of. I really felt like my wedding was in good hands with the staff at Running Deer and wouldn't have changed anything about the day. You can truly trust them to make your wedding perfect.

This was the first venue my husband and I had looked at for our Wedding and nothing else compared to it. Heather was not pushy at all during our consultation and just presented everything they had to offer to us. Running Deer is very accommodating to each and every Wedding. They only do one Wedding for the day so you have the flexibility of choosing your timing. There wasn't a question I asked (which was a lot!) that didn't go unanswered. Heather and Olivia were extremely helpful in planning this event for us. On the Wedding day, I was even more blown away. The staff was very professional and pleasant to work with. Everything was beyond what I had expected it to be, as far as the set up. I was a bit nervous because I felt like we left them a lot to set up for us the day before and I didn't know if I was clear enough on how I wanted everything. A couple of years ago I attended a baby shower at the Running Deer. The event was beautiful, the venue gorgeous and food delicious. I knew that when the time came, I'd be back to the Running Deer. When that time did come, my fiance and I visited various other locations throughout the Delaware Valley with little luck. It wasn't until we visited the Running Deer that we found everything we were looking for in a wedding venue. When choosing a venue, your not only investing in the venue but the manager of that location. The success of your wedding is in their hands. Heather and her team are beyond impeccable and extremely professional. After exchanging countless emails with Heather regarding millions of detailed questions I had, I'm sure she and her team can handle whatever is thrown their way with grace, honesty and most importantly, a smile. The moment I got to the Running Deer on our wedding day we were greeted by our personal maitre d' who again went above and beyond to ensure we were happy, a drink was in our hand, and everything was going smoothly. Everything about our wedding was exactly how I envisioned it would be. My seven year old self—whose been dreaming about this day since she can remember—would have been blown away.

Our wedding was absolutely amazing! The entire place is beautiful and I loved the fact that there is only one wedding a day. Everyone was great to work with and the wedding went flawlessly! I can not say enough great things about my venue! I'm getting a little teary eyed remembering how perfect they made our big day! Not only was the entire place beautiful, they made our day easy for us! Heather, their wedding planner, was so easy to work with through all the decisions and she always kept me posted on any updates! The day of the wedding the Maitre D, Mary Jo, was FANTASTIC! She made me feel like a princess on the wedding day! She told us all exactly where we had to be and when we had to do things! Whenever I needed a drink or anything she would run to get it for me. The food was spectacular! They put up all my decorations that I had brought them the day before and took it all down for me to pick up the next day. Every thing was literally perfect! I wouldn't have changed a thing! I would recommend this venue to anyone!!

Running Deer made our wedding the perfect day we envisioned! From planning the wedding with Heather's help to Mary Jo getting us anything we needed the day of, the whole process was excellent! We received many, many comments from guests of the wedding at how great the food tasted from the appetizers to the entree's and chocolate room, to how wonderful the staff was. Everyone worked with my husband and I to make our wedding day perfect. They truly were there for us throughout the whole process and helped work with our requests.

We were thrilled with Running Deer Golf Club - the venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, the service was great, and the prices were reasonable! Heather was so great to work with leading up to the wedding, and Mary Jo took amazing care of us on our wedding day. They did such an awesome job of moving dinner along quickly so that we had plenty of time to dance and enjoy the night. We had such a perfect, worry-free wedding day! Wow!!!! Heather and the entire staff at Running Deer are great!!!!! They are very accommodating and professional. It was so nice, as a bride, to know that everything was taken care of and would be running smoothly. I was able to really relax and enjoy the day. It was just a wonderful experience from the moment we signed the contract to the event. Everyone was so helpful. The food was out of this world!! Heather took care of everything as far as setting up all the special tables. Mary Jo - can't say enough about her. She was always one step ahead - taking care of everything. Working with Heather at Running Deer to plan my wedding day was absolutely wonderful. Even though my wedding had to be moved from Running Deer on the day of the wedding (due to circumstances out of Running Deer's control!), their entire team worked to re-create my reception in another venue that turned out to be absolutely beautiful! Guests could not believe that their staff was able to virtually move my reception from Running Deer to another venue. The service and professionalism is outstanding, and I can't emphasize enough just how highly I recommend this venue to a future bride!

Running Deer was the perfect location for our wedding. Heather was great to work with through out the planning process she was always quick to respond to any of my questions. When I arrived the day of the wedding I thought for sure things would not be how I wanted them (I do event planning and can be a bit OCD when it comes to the details) Boy was I surprised when I walked in and everything was exactly how I envisioned it! Mary Jo took care of everything that day and ensured we had a great time! The Running Deer Team was great!

From beginning to end, dealing with Running Deer Golf Course was a pleasure! Heather McCall kept in constant contact with me months in advance answering any questions we had and keeping me up to date. The day of our wedding, we ahd nothing to worry about- Mary Jo was so efficient and got us whatever we needed. Needless to say, everything went smoothly. It was a great experience working with them and we hope to have another event there soon!

We all had a wonderful time at your facility. MaryJo is awesome. So attentive and on the ball. She handled everything beautifully. Not a detail was missed, right to the end making sure we didn't forget anything. The rest of the staff was great, too. You've trained your staff well. And the food was delicious. The Chocolate Room was a huge hit with our guests. I got the word out to everyone to not eat the wedding cake (even though I knew it was going to be delicious) and to take it home because the real dessert was in the Chocolate Room. They all agreed and loved the presentation. The fire pits were the perfect touch to take the chill off during the cocktail hour, and also a big hit with the guests. The grand ballroom looked beautiful. Everything really did come together perfectly. Even the weather cooperated. Can't thank you enough for all that you did to make sure Carlye and Shaun had a beautiful wedding. They enjoyed every minute of their day. Lucky them, they're already in Jamaica for a week-long honeymoon.

After looking for many months and not finding a venue we truly loved my fiancé and I looked at Running Deer Country Club. The venue was breath taking. As my wedding day became closer I had many questions and Heather and her staff did a wonderful job answering them and putting my mind to ease. The day of my wedding was spectacular and ran with such ease all do to Heather and her staff! I am coming up on my one year anniversary and when I think back on my wedding day not only did I marry the man of my dreams I got married in the place of my dreams! I would recommend Running Deer to anyone!

I really have nothing bad to say about RD. The venue is amazing especially since I was not looking for a typical ballroom. I dealt with Heather up until the day of my wedding. She was always polite and responsive even when I asked many questions : ) On the day of the wedding our Maitre D was Mary Jo---one word AMAZING! She was wonderful. She always ensured that the bridal party was taken care of and she coordinated everything for the day. The staff at RD are also very genuinely friendly and many of my guests commented on this. Overall, we were pleased.

Awesome, awesome, awesome across the board! Our wedding was this past weekend (10-22-11) and we have not stopped receiving calls and emails about how nice and fun our wedding was. Heather was the best and always responded quickly. Mary Jo was with us every step of our wedding night making sure we had cocktails and food. We had some tough people to please at our wedding, and they were the ones raving the most. Food was great! Grounds and pergola looked beautiful. Hands down, perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
