The Bake Works made us the most beautiful wedding cake that we have ever seen. Amanda took the time to sit down with us and design exactly what we wanted. The cake tasting was a wonderful experience and they had a large variety of flavors to choose from. They also made our Grooms Cake which they created by looking at some pictures that we submitted and the cake not only looked exactly like the pictures but tasted delicious. Thank you again to The Bake Works for the delicious and beautiful creations that you made for our most important day.

We decided to have cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. After tasting at least 15 different combinations, we were able to narrow it down to four selections. They also set up the display at the reception and everyone was in awe of how beautiful it was. Very reasonable in cost and our guests are still raving about how delicious the cupcakes were!

The Bake Works bakery happened to already work with my venue (The Smithville Inn) and I could not have been happier with the cake! We didn't want anything too extravagant yet wanted it to be beautiful of course. We worked with Amanda and she was amazing! So friendly and always quick to respond. She did just what we wanted with our cake and even let us be part of it by providing a few extras used to help decorate the cake. And the taste....delicious! We did a traditional black and white cake with the butter cream icing, but when we went for our tasting we didn't dislike anything. I'm so happy our venue was already contracted to work with this bakery!

I worked with the Bake Works for my wedding cake and couldn't have been happier. The was included with a package from the venue which made me a little nervous at first. However, all of my fears went away as soon as we went to the tasting. Their cakes were amazing! It was really hard to choose a flavor. We went with the red velvet cake and cream cheese icing and my mouth is still watering just thinking about it. I brought a picture of a cake design that I really liked and they easily accommodated me. The baker even sounded excited to do the design work on the cake which was really nice. All of my guests commented on how good the cake was. The venue coordinator even stated that this was one of the only weddings when there was no leftover cake! All of the guests cleared their plates.

The Bake Works is the contracted bakery for The Smithville Inn, where we had our wedding on 4/27/13. Having no choice in the matter did make me a little wary, but my worries were for nothing! The Bake Works not only had many options for cake size/type/flavor/etc., but everything was insanely delicious. At our tasting, the staff had every variety of cake laid out for us and was helpful with our questions. We ended up going with a tower of cupcakes with a small top cake for us to cut, and it was a huge hit!! Everyone thought the cupcakes were unique as well as so yummy. The bakery also called me the week before the wedding to confirm and double check everything, which I appreciated. I would recommend this bakery to anyone.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet...this was literally the best wedding cake I've ever had! And yes it is my wedding, so I AM biased, but this was the sentiment of every guest we spoke to about the cake.
So if you are looking for a GREAT tasting cake, PLUS, gorgeous display quality...Amanda and her staff at The Bake Works is where you should run to! And after the generous tasting, you'll need to run home as well.
Seriously, I cannot say enough about Amanda and The Bake Works. The cake literally was delicious, stylishly fitting for our theme and taste, and Amanda and her team were incredibly fun and professional to deal with. Definitely the highlight of any vendor visit that my now husband and in-laws...

Bakeworks made the most amazing and tastiest wedding cake ever. So many people came up to us and wanted to know where we got our cake from. They were very accommodating and made each slice have 3 of our favorite flavors. Would absolutely recommend!

Love, love, love Amanda and The Bake Works!! We worked with Amanda through Merry Makers and loved the entire experience. My mother and I went to visit her for the consultation and left with so much cake! She encouraged us to take all the pieces home, that were left after our tasting, just so that we could share with the groom and everyone at home. She came up with unique ideas, suggested we use silk flowers instead of real ones (since they are cheaper and last longer), and had offered to make sugar flowers if we could not find the silk. Best of all, since she works with Merry Makers we did not have to worry about any follow up after the first meeting. She and The Bake Works were hands down one of the best vendors we worked with throughout our entire experience.

Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful. It was vanilla, with butter cream icing and chocolate/raspberry ganache in the center. It was definitely one of the best cakes I have ever tasted.

Our wedding cake was provided by the Bake Works. Gorgeous cake. I cannot say enough about the attention to detail on each tier of the cake. In addition to beauty, they make some of the most delicious cakes in NJ. I would highly recommend chosing the Bake Works as your vendor. A+

We meet with The Bake Work about a month before our wedding for a tasting. We show them pictures of what my wife and I were thinking for a wedding cake. We selected a few types of cakes we want to try for the tasting and they put a couple of extra cake on the tray for us. We ended up using one of the extras they put on the tray for us. When we saw the the cake at the reception we were amazed by how it looked. The cake could not have looked any better!

Beginning in 2009, Bake Works provided our daughter's engagement cake, wedding cake(s) and just recently, first baby shower cakes and all three occasions proved that The Bake Works is the finest bakery in all south Jersey. I would not go anywhere else for cake & baked goods. I'm a 45+ years baker (just for family) and theirs is the first cake I actually rave about - it's delicious, moist, full of flavor & simply the best! You can't go wrong with The Bake Works & you'll never find anything to compare to these baked goods! I highly recommend to any and all who are looking for a top-of-the-line product! very consistent too.

Bake Works was easy to work with. Our cake was a package deal with our reception venue so i don't know the price of the cake, but we had a great time designing our cake with Bake Works. We had the store make our grooms cake with a unique design which turned out amazing (chocolate peanutbutter chip). They were great!

The Bake Works cake was not only delicious (we had SO many compliments on the cake from our guests), but it was beautiful as well. My brother gave my husband and I a beautiful cake topper that wouldn't really work with the kind of cake we had chosen, so the girls at the Bake Works found a way to make it work and we were so happy with the result! Cake came out SO great. It looked just as I'd expected. We had so much fun at the cake tasting. So many flavors to pick from. Their cakes are so different than anyone else's and they had GREAT recommendations that helped make up our mind. Also ordered a grooms cake in the shape of a pizza that came out adorable. Would definitely reccomend to anyone looking for a tasty great looking cake!
